The November 14, 2016 meeting was called to order at 7:02 PM by club president Kevin Stremlau. There were 57 members and 11 guests present. The guests tonight were: Steve & Darlene Corrie, Jodie & Marcie Marcy, Steve Barton, Grant Barton, Will Kessinger, Barb & Dale Bailliez, and Steve & Collette Rees. Welcome all!! The club has had an awesome year, with membership growing from 147 at the beginning of the year to 179 currently, thanks to all members of the club, the board & Gary Uftring for providing the venue. Kevin also thanked all of our club members who are veterans for their service. Kevin wished Happy Birthday and Happy Anniversary to all who are celebrating in November.
Secretary’s Report – The October 2016 meeting minutes as posted on the website were reviewed with no corrections. A motion was made, seconded, and approved to accept.
Treasurer’s Report – MICC Treasurer, Mourina Sweet, gave the treasurer’s report for October 31, 2016 including a detailed breakdown of all transactions. There were no questions. A motion was made, seconded and approved to accept as presented.
Activities – Jim Gehrig was absent. Marilyn Carls reminded everyone of the Christmas Party at Weaver Ridge on Dec 3rd. Reservations need to be made & paid no later than Monday November 28th. After that date no refunds will be given. However, if you had not signed up but want to go, Marilyn can accept a reservation until Friday, Dec 2nd. There is a Meet & Eat at Kenyon’s on Saturday, November 26th, get with Pam Morris if you would like to sign up. The Salvation Army has changed the times for the Bell Ringing at Bass Pro. Check the sign-up sheet or contact Pam Morris for more details. John & Carol Steffen would like to coordinate a trip to the Smoky Mountains after the St Jude Drive next May, more details will follow. The St Jude Drive is May 18th, 2017. If you need to get on the list to get information about the St. Jude Drive meetings let Kevin know. If anyone has any suggestions for an overnight trip or a week-long trip next year let Jim know.
Membership – Steve & Darlene Corrie, Will & Roberta Kessinger, Jodie & Marcie Marcy, Steve Barton and Grant Barton were voted in as new members. This brings our membership total to 187 in 105 households.
Newsletter – Please send all information for the Newsletter to Moe Sweet by the 25th of the month.

Governor’s Report – Sandy Arnold will have a full report on the web before the next meeting about her NCCC meeting that she attended last weekend.
Program – None.
Old Business – Kevin announced the board members for next year. David Bowles was voted in as Vice-president, all the other positions will remain the same.
New Business – None.
Announcements – The apparel committee has new shirts that can be ordered/purchased. Visors for the ladies and caps for the men are available for purchase at all meetings. They ask that you pay for shirts when you order them. Sizes & prices are available on the website. Moe also showed fleece jackets that can now be ordered. The club still has a number of jackets for sale – please contact Elaine Kasky if you are interested. Dining Out books can be purchased for $30 and can be used immediately. The proceeds from the sale of the books are donated to St. Jude which secures our club as an official sponsor of the Drive. The proceeds from the car show go to sponsor St. Jude Runners. It was suggested that we give new members business cards to pass out – these cards are available to all members.
Trivia and 50/50 – Trivia question: On what day did the first Corvette #1 Serial Number E53F001001 roll off the assembly line, and Corvette production officially begin?

The correct answer was B) June 30th, and was worth $20. Sandy Arnold answered incorrectly. The December trivia question correct answer has a value of $30.
The 50/50 drawing was $53.00 tonight and was won by Linda Picton. Linda donated her winnings to the Car Show. Thanks Linda!
