With Sadness, RIP

One of our members has passed away. Craig Curry was a member of our club since 2016.  Please keep his wife Linda, and family, in your thoughts and prayers.  A sympathy card has been sent on behalf of the club.

PEORIA – Craig LaRue Curry, 69, was born on November 20th, 1951 in Chicago, IL to Eloise and LaRue Curry along with two siblings, Paulette and Michelle Curry. He attended high school at De La Salle Institute in Chicago, IL. He then attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL majoring in Electrical Engineering. After graduation, he worked as an engineer for Caterpillar for 42 years. Craig was an avid hockey player: he played as a college student, was a youth hockey coach, and worked for many years as a goal judge for the Peoria Rivermen. He also enjoyed football (playing for the last official Bradley University team) and softball. He married the love of his life, Linda Curry, and had five children. One preceded him in death, Brittany Curry. His remaining children are Sherri Holtz (John) in Orland Park, IL; Rhasaan Smith (Kim) in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX; Tiffany Curry in Little Rock, AK; Dr. Craig Curry II in Phoenix, AZ. He has been blessed with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Simons Mortuary.
